Under MacOSX installation

A light documentation about installation of Simutrans running on Mac0SX. She was really tested.

• (1) Download Simutrans zip file for Intel engine on website :
  http://www.simutrans.com/download.htm]http://www.simutrans.com/download.htm
• (2) Get SDL right library (version 1.2.14 by the day)for MAC (dmg file) here :
  http://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php]http://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php
• (3) Get a game pak here (for example pak128) :
  http://www.simutrans.com/download.htm]http://www.simutrans.com/download.htm

Note: files zip are automatically unzipped… Into repository named “Downloads” of the home repository

• (4) Install SDL library like this (reading file named README is useful) :
  • In Go menu → choose Computer then repository hard disk and then libraries and finally Frameworks
  • Copy here all the repository SDL.frameworks from unzipped files.
• (5) Go to the repository named simutrans-1 (or that where there are the unzipped pak files ) and copy repository pakxxx ( xxx= pak type as 64 or 128…) into another repository simutrans (this where there is the game files)

Note: AS Mac automatically unzipping, this create a new repository simutrans (naming simutran-1) at each time (the same repository into 2 zip files)

• (6) Open terminal ([cmd][t] and go to the repository simutrans :
  

  cd ~/Downloads/simutrans

• (7) Run game by command :

  ./simutrans -lang en

Normally the game starts with the traditional greeting message

Tested version :

• MacOSX =10.6.7
• simutrans 110
• pak128.110.alpha

Note : By windows system, You can alsorunning the game with pression on [simutrans] icon
